What do I need to start?
The tools and materials required are simple: a set of needles, thread, scissors, a crochet hook, some needle threaders, jewelry pliers and findings. You'll get a list of everything that is needed including the recommendation on needle and thread choice, and links to the online shops.
Or you can order a set of needles and thread together with the course:
- a set of tatting needles "Pony". There are 4 needles of different size and a needle threader in the set.

About the creator
Anastasiya Bogdanovich
I've been into different crafts since my childhood. In 2018 I created a YouTube channel dedicated to tatting - HobbyPoint by Anastasiya, with more than 95 000 followers now.
I create unique jewellery pieces using needles and shuttles, and gladly share my knowledge and experience with everyone who wants to join the world of lace making.

Tatting. Is it hard to learn?
Although it may seem difficult, there is only one stitch that you need to master - the double stitch. Surely there are more things to learn (otherwise there would be no course ☺) but they all are based on just one type of stitch. The course is structured in such a way that you will learn everything gradually, from basic to more advanced things.
